Inefficient energy usage, outdated infrastructure, and lack of user awareness contribute to high operational costs and environmental impact. At the same time, campuses are under increasing pressure to meet sustainability goals and reduce carbon footprints.</p> <p data-start="816" data-end="1071">Facilities management teams often rely on static schedules and manual monitoring, which fail to adapt to real-time usage patterns. Students and staff are typically unaware of their energy consumption behavior, limiting opportunities for collective impact.</p> <p data-start="1073" data-end="1255">The goal of this challenge is to design a smart, AI-powered system that optimizes energy consumption across campus while promoting sustainable behaviors and maintaining user comfort.</p>
